About Geeknight
Geeknight started out as a bunch of grown men who wanted to learn more about electronics. They started off with the odd get-together to eat potato chips, drink beer and learn about microcontrollers. Then, they began to meet every Thursday night to work through projects, drink beer and eat potato chips. Each project got a bit more complicated and a bit better refined until they spent less time toasting electronic components and more time getting things to work. The odd challenge got thrown down and then the trash talk began.

Our coolest project yet is the Solarcrawler - a GPS tracking solar powered boat which we intend to send out on long trips starting June, 2010. You can read more about it here:
